This command starts the process of defining a new sample area. First, use the Choose Color Dialog to pick a color for the new sample area. Then define the sample area by one of the following methods:
1. Right-click the mouse on the map. This will create a sample area in one step using the nearest shape on the map.
2. Left-click the mouse on each vertex of the sample area. (If you hold the shift key while clicking it will select the nearest point on the map.) If you make a mistake defining one of the vertices, use Undo . Choose Finish Area from the menu or toolbar after selecting all the vertices. (Right-clicking the mouse will also finish the area.)
