Set Parameter Values (Edit menu)

Use this command to set the value of built-in and user-defined parameters for sample areas (or rooms).

This command pulls up the following dialog:

This dialog contains the following controls:

Set drop-down list:

Select the built-in or user-defined parameter for which you want to set the value. The value of this parameter will be set for each sample area (or room) which meets the criterion defined below. Note: The values of parameters in unselected sample areas are not necessarily immune from change.

To text box / drop-down list:

The parameter in each sample area that meets the criterion defined below will be set to this value.

 

The following three controls define a simple criterion that will determine which sample areas will have the value of the parameter changed.

Comparison parameter drop-down list:

Select the parameter that will be compared against the comparison value below.

Comparison drop-down list:

Select the comparison operator. Operator choices:

= Equals

!= Does not equal

< Less than

> Greater than

<= Less than or equal to

>= Greater than or equal to

$ Contains text

!$ Does not contain text

 

Comparison Value text box / drop list:

The value that will be compared against the comparison parameter above.
