Use this command to set the minimum and maximum coordinates on your map as well as certain other settings associated with the map.
This command sets the edges of the map that are visible when the View / Zoom Max command is used. The extents are not as important in VSP now that it has unlimited Zoom and Pan capabilities. You cannot shrink the edges inside any of the objects already on the map. When loading a map or samples from a file, the map extents are automatically updated.
The dialog contains the following controls:
Minimum X: | Edit the X Coordinate at the left edge of the map. |
Maximum X: | Edit the X Coordinate at the right edge of the map. |
Minimum Y: | Edit the Y Coordinate at the top edge of the map. |
Maximum Y: | Edit the Y Coordinate at the bottom edge of the map. |
North Offset: | Edit the degrees of offset for the North arrow in the room view. This is in case North is not at the top of the map. |
Units: | Choose the unit for the coordinate system of the map. Note: this only tells VSP what the units are for the map - it will not alter or re-project the map itself. If the coordinate system has been set, it is not advisable to change the units. |
