Transparency can be specified for a sample area, allowing any loaded background pictures to be seen through the sample area. A sample area with 0% transparency will be completely opaque, while a sample area with 100% transparency will be completely invisible. The example below shows two sample areas set to 70% transparency.
To change the transparency for a sample area, click on the Sample Area in the Map View or in the Layer Control Bar to fill the Property Bar with the properties for that Sample Area. Clicking on the current Transparency value in the Property Bar will cause a slider to appear that can be dragged to adjust the Sample Area's transparency.
