Analyte page

This page of the sample design dialog controls the properties of the analytes used in the sample design and data analysis.

The Analyte page contains the following controls:

Paste button

This transfers data from the clipboard into the data grid.  You must ensure that the data being pasted in matched up with the correct column in the data grid.

Import button

This transfers data from a text file into the data grid.  You must ensure that the data being pasted in matched up with the correct column in the data grid.

Copy button

This transfers data from the data grid out to the clipboard.

Delete All button

This clears all the analytes from the list.  (Note: most designs require that at least one analyte remains in the list).

Columns button

This allows you to add / remove / rearrange columns in the data grid.  See Analyte Columns for more information.

Data grid

The data grid shows the contents of the defined analytes.  See below for details.

Add New Analyte button

This adds a new analyte to end of the list on the data grid.  You can also add a new analyte by click on the grid below the last analyte.

Delete Analyte button

This removes the analyte from the grid that is currently selected (highlighted).

MARSSIM button

This opens an option to select specific series or individual radionuclides that are preset for use with the MARSSIM designs.

The data grid can contain many different columns. Some typical columns are Analyte, Action level and Units.  In addition, the grid can contain various other design parameters.  This simplifies the process of creating sampling designs for many different analytes that have different design parameters.  The design parameters can be enter into the grid here instead of entering them on the sampling design page one at a time:

See Analyte Columns for details on adding, removing or rearranging columns.
