Use this command to color all samples on the map based on the value of a built-in or user-defined parameter. This command displays the following dialog:
This dialog contains the following controls:
Select Color Set drop-down list: |
Select one of the defined color sets to use for coloring the samples. Some color sets are gradient and some are discrete. |
Custom button |
Click the button to create a new custom color set. |
Based on Parameter drop-down list: |
Select one of the built-in or user-defined parameters to use for coloring the samples. |
Log Scale check box: |
Check this box to color scale the parameter according to the logarithm of its value. Only certain parameters can be log-scaled. |
Change Min check box: |
Check this box to change the minimum value on the scale. |
Min Value edit box: |
Enter a value to be the minimum value on the scale. Values below this minimum will be displayed in white. |
Change Max check box: |
Check this box to change the maximum value on the scale. |
Max Value edit box: |
Enter a value to be the maximum value on the scale. Values above this maximum will be displayed in the highest color in the scale. |
Color by Value check box: |
Check this box to color the samples by the value of the given parameter. Uncheck this box to turn off this automatic coloring feature. |
Apply button: |
Press this button to apply the color settings to the map without closing the dialog. |
