Click this button on the Sample Information dialog to move the sample point to a new location. Only Random or Manual samples can be moved.
For regular Sample Areas, you can click on a new location on the map. You can also enter new coordinates on the keyboard. Note: The new location must be in the same Sample Area that currently contains the sample.
For Rooms, there are several options for moving the sample:
Manual |
Manually click on a new location on any surface in the room, including furniture surfaces. Note: If you are in the 3D View, you will need to switch to the Room View or Map View to complete the operation. |
Floor |
Move sample directly down to the floor (no change in x or y coordinates). |
Ceiling |
Move sample directly up to the ceiling (no change in x or y coordinates). |
Closest Wall |
Move sample directly to the nearest wall surface (no change in z coordinate). |
Top of Furniture |
Move sample to top of named piece of furniture. Notes: Each piece of furniture is named so you can pick any piece. Sample is placed on top center. |
Side of Furniture |
Move sample to side of named piece of furniture. Notes: Each piece of furniture is named so you can pick any piece. Sample is centered vertically on side that is closest to the current location of the sample. |
