Set Sample Parameters Using Map

This command allows you to change certain Sample Parameters by selecting locations on the map.

To change the sample parameters using this command::

First, select the Parameter from the drop list.  It contains all the built-in and user-defined Sample parameters that are of type Boolean or List.  In the dialog above, the "Well Usage" user-defined parameter is selected.

Next, select the particular Value of the parameter from the drop list.  In this case, the value "Monitoring" is chosen.

Next, click the Choose Samples button.  At this point, the cursor becomes a cross-hair and you begin clicking points on the map to enclose the sample locations you want to change. You can use Undo during the selection process.  In the example below, the 7 locations labeled "MW-*" are enclosed.

Once you have enclosed all the locations you want, Right-Click to finish the process.  A message box displays the results:
