Test Sub-Page for Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

This sub-page of the Data Analysis page displays results of specific tests on the data values from the Data Entry Sub-page.

This page contains the following controls / displays:

Analyte

Analyte drop-list

Choose the analyte whose data you want to test. Different analytes are specified on the Analyte page .

Normal Distribution Test

Significance Level

Choose a 1%, 5%, or 10% significance level for the associated normality test. VSP conducts a Shapiro-Wilk normality test if there are fewer than 50 selected data values; otherwise a Lilliefors normality test is conducted.

Upper Confidence Limit on Mean

UCL Confidence

Select the confidence level for the Upper Confidence Limit on Mean calculations. VSP uses two methods for computing the UCL on the mean: one assumes the data are normally distributed ( Parametric UCL ), the other does not ( Nonparametric UCL ).

Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

WSR Test

VSP conducts the WSR Test to compare the mean against a threshold.
