Test Sub-page for MARSSIM Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test

This sub-page of the Data Analysis page displays results of specific tests on the data values from the Data Entry Sub-page.

Important Note: In order to perform the analysis, each data point must be assigned to the correct Survey Unit or Reference Area.  When working with data on the map the value will be picked up from the Area Type of the Sample Area where the sample is located.  This can be seen on the Coordinate View under the Ref/Surv column.  If working with data that is not on the map (non-spatial data), the Reference / Survey Unit indicator must be assigned in the Set column on the Data Analysis / Data Entry Sub-page.  VSP supports multiple Survey Units, however, you must specify which Survey Unit to analyze using the Data Set drop-list.

This page contains the following controls / displays:

Analyte drop-list

When working with the One Analyte at a Time design, choose the analyte whose data you want to test. Different analytes are specified on the Analyte page. This drop-list is not available for Unity Rule or Gross Activity designs.

Data Set drop-list

Choose the data set (Survey Unit) whose data you want to test.

MARSSIM WRS Test

VSP conducts the MARSSIM WRS Test to compare the mean against a reference mean for the selected data set. The test can only be conducted when data from a Survey Unit is selected.
